Understanding the need to increase awareness and tourism of the historic downtown of York City, Gavin was tapped to develop a brand persona, create brand story in support of a new market position for the York County History Center as it planned to launch a 35 million dollar capital campaign to fund its innovative vision of a 150,000 square foot interactive museum. Our team started with comprehensive audience research and focus groups with key audience segments, including children, parents and minorities and review of the market opportunities. Through a complete branding process, we developed historical moments through bold edutainment experiences that provided our client a platform for sharing local York history through unique, accessible and interactive brand storytelling.

“As we took on our organization’s rebranding, it was important to us to plan an approach that took into consideration the voice of all of our audiences, including donors, visitors and our own employees. Gavin took a strategically comprehensive and inclusive approach. They conducted market and audience research, collaborated with our team and advised our senior staff on navigating the nuances of building influence along the way. The outcomes truly reflected our desired brand experience. The creativity and passion for developing our unique brand voice was evident in everything they did. We’re thrilled with the branding work, as well as the extensive communications, public relations and digital marketing plans they delivered. Our new website, video, email marketing and collateral convey a redefined vision and experience that has completely repositioned our organization in the community.”
