On the heels of acquiring TFM Advertising, Gavin™, a digitally minded public relations and marketing agency with headquarters in York, is pleased to announce its CEO, Mandy Arnold, has been named president for the board of directors for Downtown Inc.
Having served on the board for Downtown Inc for more than 6 years, her leadership role exemplifies her commitment to supporting authentic local communities and ensuring sustainable economic growth in a region by creating collaborative partnerships. She has previously served with Downtown Inc as marketing chair, and led the organization through an extensive consumer research project and rebranding campaign in 2011.

In 2011, Arnold chose to locate her business and home in downtown York, growing Gavin™ from a one-person operation to a full-service public relations and marketing agency that has brought 20-plus jobs to York, attracting top talent and encouraging employees to engage with development, culture and entertainment downtown.
In addition to her role with Downtown Inc, Arnold also currently serves on the board of directors for the York County History Center and the York County Industrial Development Authority, as well as on HACC’s York Campus Advisory Board.
Professionally, Arnold brings two decades of managing senior-level market strategy, crisis communications and public relations for regional and national brands. Her experience in managing brand perception and mitigating high-risk issues includes environmental issues, community conflicts, product recalls, major corporate crises, executive transitions, organizational change and market repositioning efforts.
She holds a master’s degree in Communications Management and a graduate certificate in Integrated Communications and Strategic Public Relations.
