Central PA (June 14, 2013) – Gavin™ Advertising has won two internationally recognized Hermes Creative Awards, which honor the best work of messengers and creators of traditional and emerging media from around the world.
Gavin won a Gold Hermes Creative Award in Advertising/Direct Mail for their piece, “More Than Cold Calls and Lunch Dates,” created for Central PA engineering firm, C.S. Davidson. The unique, breakthrough mailer series targeted precise audiences within the c-suite among top development and construction companies and worked to open doors for potential business development connections and opportunities.
Gavin also won a Hermes Creative Award Honorable Mention for “Grab a Fork and a Friend and Get Out to Eat,” a campaign created for York City’s Restaurant Week York 2013, in the Pro Bono category. The campaign and its creative elevated the annual campaign to reach new milestones under Gavin’s direction, including increased attendance, participation and most importantly sales and excitement for downtown restaurants.
Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies. Hermes Creative Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The competition has grown to one of the largest of its kind in the world. A look at the winners shows a range in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies.
