Central Pa. (12 May 2015) Gavin™ Advertising is thrilled to announce it has won two Gold Hermes Creative Awards, internationally recognized awards that honor the best work in traditional and emerging media from around the world.

Gavin earned a Gold Hermes Creative Award in the category of Business to Consumer for redesigning and development of the Kimman’s website, and a Gold Hermes Creative Award in the category of Point of Purchase for its Martin/Kunzler co-marketing project. The team also received an honorable mention in the Business to Consumer category for design and development of the website for Underground West, a hidden dining experience in York, PA.

“We’re excited to be honored by the Gold Hermes Creative Awards for our digital expertise and the creative sales and marketing solutions we’ve developed for our consumer packaged goods clients,” said Mandy Arnold, president of Gavin™ Advertising. “Our team works hard to bring real solutions to all of our clients, which is evidenced in the co-marketing strategy we developed for Martin’s Famous Pastry Shoppe, Inc. and Kunzler Meats. These projects truly showcase our ability to deliver unique brand engagement opportunities that drive action and results for our clients.”

Gavin worked with Kimman’s to design and develop a responsive website with updated navigation and improved browsing experience for consumers. The new website layout resulted in a 67 percent increase in online sales, and higher foot traffic within the physical store.

Gavin also connected its CPG client Martin’s Famous Pastry Shoppe, Inc. and its Martin’s potato rolls with Kunzler Meats, producer of quality meats and franks, for a co-marketing in-store promotion that secured increased floor space during a key grilling season — tailgating for the big football game. The campaign was a creative standout designed to capture the attention of consumers and grocery chains’ buyers and general managers, which resulted in double the sales for both brands during the campaign. The campaign was such a success that Gavin is now working with each brand to roll out expanded co-branded POP campaigns throughout the year.

The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials, programs and emerging technologies.
